The Royal Family

Recently finished family portrait commission. Here it is! It's huge, 9600x13500 pixels. (about 2.5 feet by 3.75 feet) I learned so much from doing this painting and it's been a really good experience. It was a gift for the lovely lady dressed as Belle, and I was privileged enough to be present when she received it printed on a huge canvas! (SO COOL!) It was an awesome experience all around! Thanks Hardy Family!

Behind the Mask Cover Painting

Cover painting I did for the novel of the same title as this post. The book can be purchased here. It's one of the BEST BOOKS ever written. Please go give it a look.

Iakshyk's Fire

(Iakshyk is a planet, in a book I'm writing) I can't believe I hadn't posted this yet. Finished this a bit ago, new portrait of my character, Ja'ek.

Random Silliness

"Zhias Band Stallion" Zebra centaur.

"Climbing Him Like a Tree" Characters from a story that belongs to a friend and I. Demi just wanted the rum bottle back. Calvin didn't want to give it to her. She took to drastic measures.

More Portraits. Again. Probably.

"Aqua De Vida" Captain Jack Sparrow portrait, referenced from a screen still, from Pirates 4: On Stranger Tides. I miss pencil portraits. I need to do more! I finished this in May. I started it a year before that and then didn't touch it for ages.

"Tom Hiddleston" Charcoal Sweep. I don't love this one. It's a bit distorted. Love Tom, though!

The Grotto

Did in August. I'm so slow at uploading new things. Enjoy anyways!

Digital speed painting.

Hahk'ul Xaa

For an original story I’m working on. Ja’ek is from here, for those familiar with him.

Tarzan Sketches

Every so often (almost once a month) I have a Tarzan kick. I've watched that movie more than any Disney animated film. It's beautiful and the artwork never ceases to amaze me. The last couple of days I've been practicing drawing Tarzan. I'm not used to drawing exaggerated characters. So, though I'll never be going into animation or focusing on drawing characters like this, drawing Tarzan is a good exercise for me. It's helped me loosen up a bit and it's fun! I've been using screen caps as reference (I can draw him from my head, but he's too realistic and always a bit off when I do) so this is practice! Enjoy. Comments welcome.

Digital painting of the lovely Kate Winslet. I really just did this one for fun and some painting practice.
